Solid Black Walnut Square Wall Clock

Made of solid 1" (25mm) American Black walnut sourced locally from an exotic wood merchant.

American black walnut is an exquisite and desirable hardwood not readily available in the UK. It features an impressive variation between it's pale, creamy sapwood to the deep tones of the heartwood within. The heartwood holds an array of warm brown pigments from luxurious caramel through to the darker notes of ambers and cocoa, with the occasional flare of a dark purple or even crimson which catches the eye. Black American walnut (Juglans nigra) really is one of those timbers that radiates elegance. It’s heavy and strong, though slightly less dense than oak, and has a truly magnificent grain structure that brings an air of class to any home.

A very unique and decorative wall clock that we've created by specially selecting the most beautiful raw timber with as much grain character as we could find. This hand made wall clock brings the beauty of solid walnut and crafts it into a centrepiece with function. It tells the time and brings a natural and sophisticated air of style to your home.

Every slice of walnut has its own unique and beautiful pattern which is inherited by the tree that produced it. This makes each wooden clock truly unique and special in its appearance and like no other.

We also ensure we only source these magnificent woods from sustainable sources, small but incredibly important details our company is extremely proud of.
